It is a manufactured material known as the world’s strongest fibre.  Dyneema®’s strength comes from its molecular makeup — the fibre consists of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. The long molecular chains can handle heavy loads by transferring weight evenly to the polymer backbone. Dyneema® fibres are 15 times stronger than steel and contain maximum resistance to cuts, chemicals, and UV rays. It is fully waterproof.
